Here’s the general idea: First determine if your skin tone is light, medium or dark. Next, select two or three shades that appear to be a good fit with your skin tone. A foundation shade may appear darker or lighter in the bottle, so match the shade to your skin using the Easy Shade Finder or the shade swatch on the package. Hold the shade up to your jaw line, not the back of your hand (which is usually darker than the skin on your face). Your perfect shade will always match your skin tone.
